HAT-P-32 b is a Super-Jupiter exoplanet (an exceptionally massive gas giant), about 22.2 times the radius of Earth. Its scorching equilibrium temperature of 1836 K (1563°C) makes it far too hot for liquid water. The planet completes one orbit around its star every 2.2 Earth days. It was discovered in 2011 using the transit method. It orbits the star HAT-P-32, located approximately 289 parsecs (943 light-years) from Earth.
