ExoplanetAtlas

About Exoplanet Atlas

Exoplanet Atlas is an open educational platform that makes exoplanet science accessible to students, educators, and space enthusiasts. We transform raw data from NASA's Exoplanet Archive into interactive 3D visualizations, comparison tools, and educational resources.

Our Mission

We believe that the wonder of discovering new worlds should be accessible to everyone, not just professional astronomers. Our goal is to bridge the gap between raw scientific data and public understanding by presenting exoplanet information in engaging, interactive, and educational formats.

Data Source

All exoplanet and host star data comes from NASA's Exoplanet Archive, maintained by the California Institute of Technology under contract with NASA's Exoplanet Exploration Program. Our database is regularly synchronized with NASA's archive to ensure accuracy and completeness.

The NASA Exoplanet Archive is the authoritative source for confirmed exoplanet data, aggregating discoveries from space telescopes (Kepler, TESS, James Webb) and ground-based observatories worldwide.
