Kepler-62 d is a Super-Earth exoplanet (a planet larger than Earth but smaller than Neptune), about 1.9 times the radius of Earth. It has an equilibrium temperature of 510 K (237°C). The planet completes one orbit around its star every 18.2 Earth days. It was discovered in 2013 using the transit method. It orbits the K-type star Kepler-62, located approximately 301 parsecs (981 light-years) from Earth.
